After 30 years of owning Klipsch Cornwall’s, and Parasound Amp and preamp, it was time to upgrade. I chose a Macintosh MA7900 200 watt per channel integrated amp and when it was time to choose speakers the audio sales person said that you would not believe the SVS Ultra Towers. I never heard of SVS. We compared my original choice of Klipsch RF7II with the Towers. I kept going back to the Towers. I tested numerous other more expensive speakers and the Towers kept winning out. I listen loud and to Jazz and Blues. I use Qobuz hi Rez sources and the Towers are awesome. I recently have been attending audio shows and I have not heard speakers in any dollar range that have compelled me to switch. Are there better, always something. Perfect? No, but for the money, you will never hear any 2Gs speaker that’s better. I paired them with 2 SVS SB13 Subs. HEAVEN! Drums explode in front of you, bass is clean and strong, highs are clean and sweet. There are two mid speakers and each has it own range. The company is fantastic. I bought one of my subs used and after a few days an amp blew. One phone call and and a new amp was on the way, all no cost, no BS, even shipping.  Read Less

I'm not going to bore you with all the fancy buzz words audiophiles may use to describe a pair of speakers. Quite simply, these Ultra Towers are beautiful to look at and listen to. My only issue is lack of low end punch. After reading a dozen reviews on these speakers I was expecting to be blown away in the small room I listen in. (10x15x7) Seven being the ceiling height. Maybe it's the low ceiling? I had to dust off my big black box sub. to make up for it. I was hoping NOT to use it in the small room. Also, the footprint may be a bit deceiving. Up against the back wall they will stand out 20 inches. All in all they are the best speakers I've owned in my 45 years of audiophile craziness.  Read Less
