I have a few barlow's that came with telescopes which are cheap to usable. Works fine, but i learnt that when using a barlow the eyepiece afov is reduct.

I tried this 2x barlow lens with a number of my eyepieces and on two different telescopes a refractor and a reflector

So if you want to see bigger and closer you must to buy another eyepiece with more magnification minus mm and use the barlows only with bigger eyepiece 26mm and 32mm for example
