When i removed the handle and dome i discovered that rather than use a standard hex fitting the manufacturer had machined a 4lug retainer which was impossible to remove with any tools i had

There are other versions of this but the reviews suggested they were a bit flimsy no good for me because i needed a fair bit of torque to loosen the retainer on the tap
