I would not consider these heavy duty for a winch they are more light duty for cables in a garden or to tie trees etc

Yes they are small but they can be bent open to attach to hooks as you can see from the pictures

Personally i would like to see a few less thimbles in exchange for a few extra ferrules in case you were to make a mistake or want to remake a cable
