For the reason that more load is on the back rather than the front in my 20kg version 40 of the load is on the front and 60 on the back

Also since there are so many pouches spreading the weight 38 pouches in total it is far less bulky overall than other vests where the weight is more concentrated which means that with this vest you dont look like you have a distorted torso or weight 200kg with a huge bellychest if that sort of thing matters to you

It came with weights already put in the vest slots not separate which is exceptional as others that i have bought throughout the years came separately and did not fit properly and kept falling out
