Pros

Streamlight is the new kel-lite or mag-lite. I work in a factory and sometimes i have to look inside machinery that is not super lit.

The button set up is a little different. It takes an intentional strong press to activate which it responds to with a crips click sound and feel. The on-off and light level adjustment button is probably the most intuitive in the industry.

It is thin enough to have clipped in the pocket for easy use. Very sturdy, clips on or light enough for pocket carry. Hate to admit but i sleep with it clipped to my nights pocket.

I like the fact that i can easily carry it in a carhartt bib overall chest pocket, or a cargo pocket of my duluth pants at work. Without a large bulge sticking out like a cylindrical flashlight does. Comfortable in front or back pocket.

Cons

It is massively overpriced, it is unneccessarily complicated for an edc light, the controls are not intuitive, and the reliability is terrible. It just dies hard. You have to pry it open to get it to clip in.

Competitiveness

In my later years as a law enforcement officer i was very happy to have a streamlight in my hand or on my belt

Totally personal preference but i don’t feel it is as attractive as many of surefire’s other lights

One of the few negatives is the use of a microusb whereas i would prefer a usbc or magnetic charger

Next to a spyderco endura it take up similar pocket space
