One thing to note is that you need to explicitly set your connection type to wired in the wii u settings simply plugging it in wont automatically switch you over to the adapter if you already have a wireless connection stored in the wii u

Maybe 1 in 40 games will disconnect where as it was more like 1 in 5 or even like 4 games in a row
