Pros & Cons
Pros
First walk with collar on, no pulling. My puppy instantly stop tugging when he felt it. I have a large german shepherd dog and a english bullmastiff that i use these on and they're awesome!
This collar seems like it will be very durable. Keep in mind that this collar is meant for quick tugs to redirect your dog. Love the locking feature.
The difference is like day and night. It works like a charm. Works well and not a sharp cruel collar.
Cons
The entire purpose of a prong collar is to create a controllable pinch on the dogs neck. We have a stubborn pit baby and the lock constantly pops open & she pulls out of it.
To twice send the wrong one has me frustrated. Tried 30 mins before finally gave up.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to adjust quality was good exactly what i was expecting
You need to pair it with the right leash and it will make all the difference
I left it alone and he isnt having any issues with the matter
I was reluctant at first but after trying the prongs with the caps on it’s a mild pokepinch
Competitiveness
I rescued a young 20lb “dorkie” dachshund yorkie who obviously had no training and was very strong and unruly on walks
Great fit for my 70lb lab shepard mix that likes to pull me down the street
He had to compete w 11 other dogs for that owner’s attention
He is a 1 yr old pit chihuahua doxie jrt mix and his previous owner who gave him up never took him out for a walk
