This mat does the trick. More than met my expectations. Works as advertised.
It's thick and the surface is grooved and not slippery. Large enough for my entire weight bench and several sets of dumbbells. Has shown no sign of dimpling or degradation in the first two months.
Cons
Buyer beware if you're using on carpeted areas. Now we have to replace the carpet, padding and treat the slab beneath it.
