Pros

This pump is amazing. Worth every penny. Nice long power cord. Much slower than the commercial pumps, but sold here at same cost than renting a bigger one at home depot.

It pumps a lot of water, quickly, if you use at least a 1. Hp. Fit nicely into the floor drain and has good suction. Bought back in october 2021 to drain spa quickly during the cold season.

Cons

Home depot product pump 30 gpm at 0' and 2 gpm at 25' will not pump more than 2 gph up 6 feet through a 1/2inch garden hose 50 feet long. Rust on top of unit as well must have leaked water into internals. The pump's base was cracked.

Master electrician confirms that the electrical circuit of the pump is defective. As soon as i plug it in, it trips the breaker. Tried clearing it airlock but still didn't work and now won't turn on at all.
