Not happy with durability under better than normal conditions. Detector now sits way lower using this mount because of the lower drop of the hinged part.
The plastic seems cheap and was frustrating to put together. The instructions reference a piece of metal that you can slide into the head. It is not.

Oem sticky cup fell off the windshield one too many times due to summer heat and the cup actually ripped

If the oem sticky cup mount touches any sort of fabric it picks up all of the loose lint and dirt and requires cleaning before it’s next use or it will fall off the windshield
