You do have to be careful not to snag the topside purple side of the blanket as it snags very easilymy cat decided to flex her claws on it when i first pulled it out which resulted in two small snags in the material

I have a thicker sherpa blanket that i bought from the sports authority out of business sporting goods store that is much smaller in size then this blanket that still looks and feels like new being almost 2 years old
