This bolster is sturdy and firm. It is very firm and supportive. The firmness allows you two different heights, if you lay it sideways. A good 290 ;).

The product description said extra firm and that was accurate but it is even firmer than i thought it would be

Did cost 8 return shipping with a fedex shipping label from the company
Packaging/appearance
Slight packaging smell to them but i’m sure time and airing out will help
I didnt notice any odor out of the box
