It's very soft and cozy but bumpy because how it's sewn together. This bed is a little more firm but does soften up within 2 months of use.

It is heavy but it is rigid so comparitively easy to move into position for opening. Made with a layer of individually wrapped coils plus 3 layers of foam/latex. It is covered in tencel, a natural wood pulp fabric, produced with non-toxic chemicals.

I have chemical sensitivities and thought this would be a safe and affordable choice but nope….

The mattress itself is not uncomfortable, it is basically toast after just 18 months of use. The cover also has an uncomfortable rim on the underside. I only have back pain when sleeping on this mattress, enough to where it disrupts my sleep.
