Pros

Leaves a soft, lustrous sheen when absorbed by the wood. If the vikings used it on their pine ships, then it's good enough for me.

About 3 weeks later it looks unreal, like its brand new. No more worry about denting or leaking tins. It's a little darker than some linseed oil, but that simply added to the richness of the look.

Cons

The durability of the container is unacceptable. The lid just collapses into the container because it's cheap, thin, plastic. Failed on all sides.

The company is sunnyside corporation 87232 1-quart boiled linseed oil. I have already had to go over it once with mineral spirits and steel wool to try to remove the tacky finish.

I use a brush as wiping it on is not an option as the rags get stuck on the wood splinters
