Pros

Very easy to assemble and the weighted base makes it just sturdy enough. Old-school, simple and smart. Easy to assemble.

There were no extra large/giant/super/jumbo/mega rolls of tp at the time. Very simple and easy to install a new roll of tp.

Reaching across has bugged me for 50 yrs. This is the one you want, not the ones with a straight arm. The way the arm hangs also allows it to fit even larger type rolls.

Cons

It's not chrome like the description. It's more like a nickel brass. This product is horribly made. My ratings reflect the unresponsiveness of the vendor.

It looks good but it is flimsy and falls apart fast. This is the least sturdy toilet paper stand i've ever wrestled with. It is not sturdy at all.
