Pros & Cons
Pros
Need to use the collar sections that are secured to the pit. Wire mesh keeps sparks in place.
Cons
The only good thing about it is the poker. Hardware is barely sufficient. The craftsman ship is very poor. Sadly the other options probably aren't much better. Do not recommend.
The handle feels flimsy on top of being sightly bent out shape. The holes for the footing, are poorly machined. Directions are horrible so have to use your brain, nothing lined up well.
When you push on the bottom it pushes in and out. The lid wire mesh is weak. The metal of the lid already shows rust.
What a hunk of junk. The cover is also cheaply made and tears easily. Overall, a very cheaply made product. For the price, it is very flimsy and thin.
Highlights
Quality
Second time time around with this product
The corrosive effects of ash are significant so when combined with the elements i consider 6 years of use to be quite good
The hardware was not included with the original package…stuff happens
Overall its a good firepit but a little pricey for the quality
Shipping
Negatives the shipping weight is your clue it’s pretty thin gauge steel
Packaging/appearance
The only improvement i would make is to drill a few drain holes in the bottom
If you don’t tie the cover to a leg it will blow off in a storm and there are no drain holes in the bottom
Competitiveness
This is my fourth or fifth firepit and it promises to be the best

The poker is adequate for lifting the lid off but too lightweight and short to reposition burning logs

I anticipate to only get a few seasons of light use out of it but honestly didn’t expect more at this price point
