Pros

Her books usually just get me so i always expect to have that experience. Considering she’s written 14 novels and one short story, ranking is always hard when it comes to these. This is easily a book i can recommend for teenage girls.

Kw's book is avery different from many of her ya novels. This one focuses on the romance between avery and brooks. It's easy to fall for brooks right alongside avery as she goes on her journey of self-discovery.

Avery and her sister lauren share a room at a remote family resort with no wifi. They quickly befriend the camp band and lauren decides to make a documentary of them. Avery and lauren are avery different pair of sisters.

This book is all about believing in yourself and trusting others. I enjoyed reading it through the lens of the enneagram personality types.

Quality

The ultimate peoplepleaser she tends to go with the flow and let people make her decisions for her

From the very beginning i was completely enamored with the characters and their banter with each other

Too bad staff is not allowed to fraternize with the guests

A “no fraternizing with the guests” rule

Packaging/appearance

My first impression of sunkissed was that this was a fan fiction rewrite of dirty dancing

Sunkissed was my first kasie west book and it wouldnt be the last

Competitiveness

Brooks offers to help avery rediscover herself under one condition she has to help him win a battle of the bands competition

55 would recommend sunkissed by kasie west won’t disappoint

However when she meets the resort’s band an opportunity arises and she joins the lead singer in a songwriting competition

The camp atmosphere was my favorite park of the book though the friendships and the battle of the bands competition were close seconds
