I have seen other posts where customers have mentioned that they had issues with the controller not going into float mode or fluctuating rapidly between float and charge mode

The reason for this was because the cutin was set too high for the battery

In my case the cutin was set to max which meant that the charge controller was cutting in at about 13

The one on the left as you are looking at the unit is the cutin adjustment and the one on the right is for adjusting the voltage read out
