Hooked it up on the battery under the hood with alligator clips supplied the wire through the grill and under my car cover the panel on the covered hood over a rubber kitchen sink mat i cut to fit

About a week later i tried the cigarette lighter plug while parked at a doctors office in the next town and the battery quickly went dead and wouldnt take a charge with a weak cell

Ok so its been a month with the panels on my boat5 watts is not enough to charge a deep cycle batt i now have both panels on one batt so at least i have one hot batt its real hard to measure watts with my elec tester so i dont really know for sure how much power these panels are putting out but after this heat wave were having in the peoples republic of south jersey you would think the batts would be red hot after 2 weeks of intense sun lite but they were so low i could not evan lower my outboard into the water
