The hat is exactly like the photo on manufacturer website, which is what i hoped. Would have liked snaps on the side, too. Bought 2 of these hats in different colors based in numerous high rated reviews.

Wide brim gives lots of shade without being too broad and cumbersome. Brim is nice and stiff but no annoying wire. The brim provides enough coverage without being floppy.

If you want a cheap dorky looking sun hat this will do. The brim is supported by a stiff wire or more likely a stiff plastic tube. However, it fit quite tight and that made it uncomfortable.
