I cant understand why companys will make a good quality product then cheapen out on something as simple as this
I never write reviews for purchases from amazon but this is a great product
Im not certain if this is a plastic quality issue or is initial uv damage to the plastic cover
I’d recommend any fish keepers that are struggling with the same problem

Additionally one of the uv bulbs was not working when it arrived i contacted seller and they immediately sent me out a replacement bulb
