I have really put it in some tricky situations had to climb out multiple times to get over fallen trees and never felt unsteady

There are handles on both ends attached with a knotted rope

On our other kayak it was missing or did not come with scuppers and the same kayak varies by color it seems

Great kayak if you go out on the back bay of the ocean but would not recommend taking it into the ocean
