My installer did not follow the directions exactly and had to redo the valve install three times before he finally looked at the directions

The setback distance is critical for the install and if you miss nothing fits correctly

Instructions are poorly worded however an experienced diyer will be able to install with little to no problem

Also we had to get another part as our unit was put further back in wall found it and their service via email was helpful

The instructions were spot on and installation requires a plumbervalve this product is only for full shower installation and not to upgrade existing one unless you have identical one already installed

He told us it was a little tricky seating the valve to the correct depth but nothing really unusual
