Pros

The kerf is much thinner than my panel saws, but is wider than my veritas tenon, dovetail, and gents saws. They're great for crafting and wood working. Cut plywood and 2 by 4s easily.

Reviews on youtubes gives you the info you need to understand why it's a great saw. I am also a complete novice when it comes to woodworking, so the saw really is that good. This not ''just'' a saw. He loves it.

Outil fait une excellente coupe.

There are no chips on the very sharp teeth and the blade can give you a good amount of flex without worrying about damaging it. The slightly thicker metal really reduces bending of the saw.

Japanese ryoba saw is a life changer. Fastest way to get setup with a high quality saw.

Cons

Cheap plastic handle and wobbly blade. Not the quality you would expect from a japanese hand forged saw.
