Pros & Cons
Pros
This game is one of the best rpgs out there. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves good rpg's. One of the all time great playstation games. Greatest rpg series ever a must for a true rpg fan/collector.
Suikoden's battle system is pretty tight. All-out battles are like fighting in a war.
The magical runes and the visual effects they create whenever they are unleashed are simply amazing! There are also the customary 108 characters that are collected through out the game. There are limitless quests, charachter's, mini-games, and hidden ... Read More
The game plays just like number 1, if you are query me about number 1 because you don't want to play it, shame on you. I waited years to play this game after playing the first one, i completely enjoyed playing suikoden. The second is expensive and har... Read More
Highlights
Quality
And with the release of suikoden iii which does let you import your suikoden ii data it makes it even more fun
Anyway this sits there with the lunars grandia arc the lad alundra wild arms and a couple others as the best rpgs the ps1 had to offer
I personally have no complaints with the game
Still have this gem stored away along with the first game
Price
Although the price seems really high i would definitely pay it if i didnt have this wonderful game
You will find it childish although it definetly isnt
As a matter of principle and good business ethics id strongly urge all people to not purchase this game unless the price goes down
Packaging/appearance
The graphics are so good in fact that players of the first suikoden will recognize some old friends just by seeing them on the screen
Not only can you get a secret character the hero from the originaltir mcdohl but it unlocks even more plot twists
Competitiveness
I bought this game a few years ago at walmart in a bargin bin
Konamis suikoden has always been by favorate rpg series next to final fantasy
