They do not block the sun out like black out curtains but they are not sheer and do provide coverage but allow light at the same time

I know it says turquoise but they are more of a teal color

Some peoples pictures looked more blueish turquoise and some looked more greenish teal

I just wanted privacy not necessarily something to keep the sun out significantly these won’t do that if that’s what you’re looking for
