The manual is very basic and not so much a manual as a notation to what each button is and what the graphic is displaying

It works much better than my previous ones in one major way it actually shows the center of the stud whereas my others display each edge

My others also detected live electrical lines but the lomvum goes one better it also detects wiring like low voltage garage door or ethernet wiring

The lomvum does not but any jewelry you wear or objects you’re near may interact with it and cause false readings

However in terms of sensitivity and specificity its about the same as those other ones
