While the 2 bars were separated i must have gotten one just a bit too close to the other and they snapped together cracking about 13 of an inch off one of the magnets

During installation the installer noticed the doors was missing the magnet which resulted in the doors staying open

They work as advertised and warning not to drop was very clear but first day i dropped one maybe 45 inches from hand to wooden desk and it broke in half although warned and i do take the blame i didnt expect them to be that fragile
