I had to wrap the leash around my hand 45x to prevent it from sliding off my hand

If your dog is a puller and you live in a rainy area i wouldn’t recommend this leash

Only shortcoming is plastic snap retaining clip covering rope joint at person end can come off if your dog if your dog pulls because your fingers could rest upon the clip and a pulling dog exerts a force in the direction that could remove the clip
