Being determined to figure out what i was doing wrong i had already taken the first one back thinking it was defective i started reading any article written on the striker and one article mentioned that there should be three feet of clearance on each side of the sensor

I had to use my own glue to get it to stick to the wall

I could not see the light when i first installed it following manufacturers instructions

Once installed they work great but i’ve had an issue where the sensor pops off it’s adhesive the sensor not off the wall and this causes the light not to work
