Just received it, nice padded leather. My only ever so tiny complaint is that it smells more of leather conditioner than leather at this point but like ohhhh noooo, it is soft and conditioned?
It has lots of adjustment on the securing strap which is good for when i am hooded. The leather is thick and sturdy, the padding is good, and it fits perfectly around a 16 1/2 inch neck.

It has lots of adjustment on the securing strap which is good thing for when i am hooded as the collar goes over the neck portion of the hood and prevents any access to the laces

Put a lock on the hasp i am hooded collared with no way out until it is unlocked
