Cons
The adhesive tape used to attach the camera mounts to the windshields is of poor quality. The car isn't parked in direct sunlight - i have a covered parking spot where the car never gets direct sunlight on the windshield.
If you can turn it on, if you then press any button, it often shuts off immediately. Sometimes it turns itself off without even touching it. It's so tight my wife can't get it out at all, even when the temperature is cooler.

The video quality is excellent on both the front and rear cameras
The quality of this unit is outstanding and the customer service is simply excellent
Until you get to the most expensive 4k blackvue 500 the camera quality is not so hot
Even with the uv blocking lens there is a glare off the windshield
Packaging/appearance
My opinion about packaging is that they should include a suction cup by default and maybe less other stuff inside
Competitiveness
They added a 30fps parking mode a parking g sensor after i got it which makes me really happy as well
You should get a dashcam in your car and you should get this one in particular
Because of the uncertainty of hardwiring it we took it to a shop that specializes in installing them

I have had three less expensive cams that went bad and were junk which is why i paid for a much better model and its well worth it

Last time i start my car and checked the cam the view in the screen is still the view when i parked my car for past 8 hrs even i already drove my car in other places

I purchased a street guardian sg9663dcpro with a 128 gb memory card and an extra cpl filter for the rear cam

For a dual cam setup i would recommend purchasing at least 128 gb of highendurance memory card

I am pretty sure this would work amazingly better if you do not have a privacy glass and dark tint
