Pros

G-sensor now has great range of setting, scratch my earlier complaint about g-sensor too sensitive. The only major hardware issue i know of is the gps. I love that it will beep if it's not recording.

The makers of this dashcam are incredibly active on dashcam talk. This is the best dashcam on the market money can be.

For those that are hesitant to attempt this on their own, there's always youtube! My cam is setup to record 3-minute clips on high bit rate (quality) on a dual-cam setup.

Cons

The adhesive tape used to attach the camera mounts to the windshields is of poor quality. The car isn't parked in direct sunlight - i have a covered parking spot where the car never gets direct sunlight on the windshield.

If you can turn it on, if you then press any button, it often shuts off immediately. Sometimes it turns itself off without even touching it. It's so tight my wife can't get it out at all, even when the temperature is cooler.
