This isn't for blinding people, although it may, it is for survival and working to survive. The light is bright as *. Super bright at long distances.

Cons

For a high power, short burn light, a police type tactical lithium flashlight makes more sense. The amount of time the light lasts is pathetic. How other reviewers can call this “bright” is beyond me.

This one just is a dud for me. It's a glaring flaw and it's sad that streamlight failed to identify this issue. Shame on streamlight for not fixing this.

It just wobbles wherever gravity points it. Springs for the battery cartridge are tall and not tempered/are very weak.

Before this light i was using an older model of the survivor the battery died after and had to be recharged almost daily

I dont know if that was a cost saver or if there is a reason someone would want it excluded

I found this flashlight new in a discount box for 4 and this has been my go to light

Packaging/appearance

My box came smashed and with a hole in it but the light was in good condition and nothing was missing

The tir optic can do this in a much flatter package than a reflector and it sticks out a lot less than the older models
