Trust me i learned this the hard way onto the flap of a cardboard box say the box the item came in and with one hand securing the flap fingers grasping the cardboard positioned on both sides of the flashlight body wiggle pull the light out of the pocket clip with the other hand firmly but at the same time carefully youll need to wiggle a bit instead of just pulling in order to stretch and deform the clip temporarily and free the light itself also if you just pull the clip belt prong might just bend permanently and then would be both useless and stuck  Read Less
