Pros
If you have a gen 3 and are looking for a sleek, oem looking light w/laser, this is the one for you. Fits taurus g3c like a glove!
Steamlight trl 6 is an excellent light/laser combo for any * that it is attached to. It is bright enough to illuminate any target at any distance (inside or out) that you really need to be engaging with a handgun.
Once it is anchored properly on both it is pretty easy to align to your sights. It is also very easy to dial in. Easy to install, easy to calibrate and easy to use.
If you press and hold either side, that performs momentary on/off. I wish the * were a little stiffer so to speak. Controls are intuitive.
Cons
When you push the on/off button or either side, it flexes. It is to recessed. Website says it fits a gen 3 19 which is the same frame.

The lightlaser has a feature where you can hold the button so the lightlaser stays on while holding it and turns off when you release

A generic or even custom holster to accommodate this light is affordable
I first purchased a 45 piece of junk sent it back

Looks like its original as it blends in nicely
It looks like it came on the gun
Competitiveness
Red laser market moving to green lasers but this red seems brighter than my crimson trace lasers
I would buy more from this brand and others lights
There are other models that are brighter but don’t have the laser

The ruger has a bit of play in it so i used a cardboard shim to take up the excess space

I received two devices and i tried to take the tiny screws out so that i can mount them on my weapon and the screw was place in the device to tight so while i was attempting to loosen the screw it stripped now i cant even get the screw out to open up the device

Most important thing about the product is that you do have to open it up to slide it into the trigger part to properly install
