Initially price convinced me to try this product over other more expensive brands my hand by no means large fits just enough so entire hand is resting on this grip yes there is 12 to 58 inch gap using the larger diameter bars what i figured out quickly is to turn the gips with the gap end towards your fingers and away from you palm if not i found it would pinch my palm

I actually wanted them for a pull up bar but they are just too thick for that

I cant get a good grip on the bar because the thickness is too thick for my small hands
