Pros

Only downside is the clean up. In addition, cleanup is easy, since the pan can be placed in the dishwasher.

Works perfectly on the stove. Fits very well in the large stove burner. When cooking entirely on stove on medium, be sure to check the meat every once in a while.

It is a great alternative for apartment dwellers who cannot have a grill-based * or other outdoor smokers. Smoking veggies usually takes 10-15 min, fish a bit longer. It only uses a couple tbs and you're smoking great food without the grill.

No smoke in the house at all. Almost no smoke leaking into the kitchen. Smoke detector didn't go off.

I thought i wanted a smoker but i wasnt ready to pay for one without knowing if i would actually like it

Packaging/appearance

I used it for fish with the oak dust that comes in the box and it was delicious

The seal for the box is pretty decent with only very minimal escape of smoke

The package came with a small container of hickory chips and a recipe book which is enough to get you started
