Pros
Use your stove top baker to freshen rolls or heat up leftovers. Nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Makes wonderful charred tasting baked potatoes.
Cons
Using the item the potatoes got burnt even on a medium electric burner. Kind of cheaply constructed.

This product is called a potato baker and im sure it does a terrific job however i ordered this specifically for the bottom plate to use on my gas stove when cooking sauces on a low heat

It doesnt steam the potatoes the way a microwave oven does so the outsides can get crisp
