Pros & Cons

Pros

I’m confident you’ll end up keeping it like we did. The only con i really have with it, is price, and all the add-ons (like the tray) are pricey as well.

It is sturdy, easy to clean, and has a neutral design so it's not a eye sore. It takes up minimal space and is even able to slide under our island to be out of the way when we are not using it. Everything wipes down super easily!

I'm excited for him to continue to use this into toddlerhood. Made to last while also being very sturdy without a tipping hazard. Easy enough to adjust the straps when we need to, just not while the baby is strapped in.

I feel the crummy high chair we used to have is the reason why our daughter had difficulty at meal times.

Cons

This chair is counter productive on both those fronts and should be recalled. For a $300 product i expect that it at least arrives looking new.

It takes a ton of effort to push the straps through the adjuster. The front receiving locking clip isn't adjustable at all which is a baffling engineering decision. Also the bottom adjustable wooden piece says on the assembly description it should be ...  Read More

The baby set is marketed to be for ages 6 months to 3 years. The infant seat is a pain to put in and out. If your child, even remotely, moves up and down in this chair, it'll just go sliding across the floor. Meanwhile our infant has an unsafe chair.

The tray is difficult to remove and fussy to clean, and suction mats don't stick to it. After fighting to put it together for an hour, the finished product wobbles.

Instructions are virtually unintelligible. These instructions have zero words and poor/totally lacking diagrams.

Quality

It is very sturdy i needed to reach something on the top shelf on day and used it because it was right there

Great quality easy to clean save the cushion for later

Not an expert but it feels like solid wood instead of the pressed wood junk thats so common these days

If i didnt buy this i would rather use the upseat as you can place it on a regular chair and has the same ergonomic fit and fun...  Read More

Price

We had to wait for a sale baby registry discount to afford it but id say its still worth every penny full price

Even the husband who was hesitant because of the price was impressed

I hate that it was so expensive but after using it i can now understand why

Ok obviously the price tag is a bit ghastly but the chair is awesome

Shipping

I hope noone else gets shipped the greasy chair

Packaging/appearance

We bought the whiteblue traycushionchair bundle and everything from the box was in perfect condition no missing parts no cracks or chips

Parts were not in packages and it had grease all over it

Mine did not come with any dings but the outer box did have a hole where the plastic high chair piece was coming through but not damaged

My goddaughter was really happy with it when she opened it telling us that it converts so the kid can use it like forever til t...  Read More

Competitiveness

Easier than ikea if you watch their youtube assembly video ✅️my baby does actually sit better in this than other traditional high chairs

I did a lot of comparing to slightly cheaper similar models of the triptrapp and they all had some flaw that would be a nag for...  Read More

It was ikealike instructions so it wasn’t super clear on some parts but it was still easy

The chair itself is difficult to clean and whenever your child grows you have to take tools and adjust multiple parts of the high chair

It’s not cheap materials or cheap work

Positioning is ergonomic without comprising comfort for my little one

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I was dreading the assembly portion of it and no qualms there

If you’re on the fence just get it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The use will be for years multiple times a day rather than spend on cheaper chairs just invest in this one

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The main reason i wanted the name brand was because none of the dupes had a footrest that could go up literally an inch below the seat they all looked like theyd fit a toddler not an infant

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

So since the tripp trapp seat sits closer than a regular high chair her legs are now closer to the footrest
