My problem isnt squirrels but pigeons and scrub jays

Pigeons would get on it and make it rotate unscrewing the top and dropping the feeder on to the ground

More importantly pigeons or scrub jays dont seem to be able to hold on to it very well or get much of anything out of it

Actually keeps squirrels out of the feeder and the large capacity allows us to leave home for a week without running out of seed in the feeder

It took the birds a while to figure it out but once they did i’m always loaded with birds… no squirrels

I reserved the fifth star because the green top and bottom you see in the picture are plastic those parts are metal in my other feeders and the yuma sun and heat are very tough on plastic
