Clothes hangers are very sturdy. Very well made and durable. This hanger appears to be steel and has a smooth weather resistant black finish on it.

Cons

Do not buy this to use with hummingbird feeder. Plastic coating was damaged, leaving a sharp edge. Could have paid $0. Expecting 6 hooks, advertisement is misleading.
