Pros
Am a small to middling size female customer and ordered a medium and it fits fine. Fit perfect and very nice and durable. Have purchased 2 others both xl.
The stetson santa fe straw is an outstanding hat. It is crushable, water repellent, and great-looking. This hat fits very good and exceeded my expectations.

Cons
The felt is very flimsy, everytime you turn your head the brim flops back and forth. The felt also is creased extremely crooked.

I’m wearing it on jobsites and very happy with it
I bit the bullet and decided on a stetson instead of some other wannabestetson and boy am i glad
Also im happy with the chinstrap since i live around a lake and gusts of wind can come out of nowhere and blow your hat to the wind
The basic quality of the hat is good for the price but i have never seen such a poor job of shaping a hat
Competitiveness
Plus i love that it is made in the usa
I bought this because of its packability to take on my safaris

This one identical to my first but this one is larger doesnt fit well due to the size irregularity

Second the wind band is tied rather sloppy with knots that cant be by the handbags

The only real problem i have is that the band is not properly centered on the hat its clearly off to the side a bit hence the 4 star for craftmanship

The stiffness prevents the brim from flapping around in the wind causing distraction which is the main drawback of western style hats for golf
