Double filters really do a great job of keeping the coffee clear of grinds. While i didn't use a ruler, it looks like the plunger is a good 1/3 to 1/2 inch shorter than it should be. I grind mine right before and it taste delicious!

This is rubbish. Sloppy (and rather *) design in terms of functionality. Double wall is pretty useless, and the exterior wall quickly becomes hot to the touch.

The top handle is only held in place by minor friction. After about 2 months of once a week use the knob on the top of press shaft came off. With this model the top handle just screws off and you have no torque to get the filters off.
