This is a great buy for a beginner or somebody wanting an inexpensive base to tour. The fret work is very good for this price point. It was the first mid-range priced instrument that arrived with an almost flawless setup.

It's a satin, which is cheaper to do than a gloss finish because the last coat goes on flat and does not require buffing. The jatoba fingerboard on mine has a pearlescent/flamed quality that is surprisingly beautiful.

Great tone and easy to dial in a nice sound with the active electronics. Nice loud sound. I truly recomend this for anyone really,keep rocking i hope this helps.

The vintage cream color of the actual item is a darker / richer blonde coffee than the stock photos' aged olympic white appearance. Love the dark ruby color.

This is an amazing bass at an incredible price

It sounds good both regular play and slapping for this price

I wasnt in the market to add another bass to the collection but the price was too good
