The way ur22c is wired (see diagram), is that the loopback feature is conveniently put at the last phase of processing.
Can't go wrong with this gear imho. Knobs and * feel geat, and the design is minimalistic and sleek.
This interface is flawless. Fantastic interface from a great company. But onward and upward.
Cons
Works 75% of the time on mac however on big sur it craps out, disappears and i need to unplug and plug it back in. After two weeks fl studio couldn’t read the audio interface. Send it back with explanation of the problem.
Steinberg recommends downgrading your operating system! Steinberg tech support is notoriously slow to respond if at all.

Ive never been happier with an interface at this price point

Frankly i havent bothered to use the freebie software that comes with the ur22c since i have better choices by default in cubase artist
Again pay for apple or experiment or find what builds work for others doing similar work
