After describing the problem to the steelwater folks who responded in less than 24 hours to assure me the safe would function as expected i was presented with three options return for replacement return with refund or keep the safe and be refunded the shipping insurance cost

It did have minor damage in two corners dented but not broken through i elected to keep it

I am sure the damage was from shipping from korea the inner box showed damage but the outer box was perfect
