You lose the ability to use all the many predefined custom game layouts that were available. The only redeeming quality it has, in my opinion, are the cool back light colors and adjustable brightness.

Although the zengine software is advertised by [. Their website sends you in loops. There is nothing on the company's website that corrects this. This company is clueless!

Major defect is no way to simulate a mouse click with a key on the keyboard. Anti-ghosting only works on the gaming pad. Now that i have to use the regular keyboard part for gaming it often ghosts if pressing more than 3 * at once!
