Pros
It's a large forster bit. Works great on a small drill press. Still sharp enough to use it again for wood.
Out of all the forstner bits i have been through (and that is a lot) this particular make and model is far superior. This bit lasts. Perfect for the hobbyist / not so much for the professional.
Cons
These are not good steel, btw, just semi-decent that should hold up for at least a few holes if you don't overheat them or need to drill through tougher materials like plywoods (glue) or phenolics. The shaft on the bit is round and the chuck on my dri... Read More
The bit is advertised as having a 3/8 shank. The package says “precision ground shank’.
